The IKFA will gladly donate memberships as prizes (1 per 25 participants) to any kayak-fishing tournament that requires that all entries conform to IKFA safety rules:
- All participants must wear a PFD at all times on the water.
- All participants must carry required Coast Guard safety equipment.
- The tournament application must display these safety requirements in order to qualify for the donated prizes by the IKFA.
