IKFA Conservation

Kayak fisherman have an intimate relation with the environment, the IKFA hopes to enhance that relationship with awareness to issues concerning the kayak fisherman and conservation of marine resources. We feel that with the power of a combined voice we can have a positive impact on our sport. The IKFA will keep members aware of the various conservation and Clean Water issues. We also will work hard not only to preserve, but also to make our lakes, rivers and coastlines more accessible to the kayak fisherman nationwide. These are tall tasks and we will work hand and hand with many other groups to achieve common goals. Periodically members will be asked to get involved by writing letters to various politicians concerning IKFA issues. This page will be constantly be updated with “Alerts” and conservation concerns. If you have something that you feel that might be of interest to the IKFA or should be announced on this page, please contact us.
